They are suitable for storing energy under pressure, absorbing hydraulic shocks, and dampening pump pulsation and flow fluctuations. Piston Accumulators

	Advantages Handles extremely high flow rates; tolerates high/low temperatures and high compression ratios; withstands external forces. Available in nearly unlimited sizes and mounting configurations. Works well with gas bottles and is fully serviceable.
	Features Over fifty std. capacities from 5 cu. in. to 50 gallons; 2", 3", 4", 6", 7", 9" & 12" nominal bore sizes; Operating pressures to 5,000 PSI; Patented V-O piston seals. Available from factory stock.

Bladder Accumulators

	Advantages Universal application. Good dirt tolerance and safety; quick response. Works well on water/low lubricity fluids. Fully serviceable.
