FAX/Mail Ordering Instructions
If this is your first order through PHI On-Line, the instructions below will provide helpful timesaving hints. Or, call us at 1-800-447-4409 during business hours, and we'll be pleased to answer any questions you might have, or to accept your order over the telephone.
To order by FAX or mail, you can either print out the blank order form and complete it by hand, or type your entries into the appropriate spaces on the form and then print it out. Or, to save time, you can cut and paste part numbers and descriptions from the appropriate product pages.

 Cutting and pasting onto the order form
If you don' like typing long part numbers or product descriptions, it is easy to cut and paste them in. The order form should currently be displayed in a different browser window than our basic website. You can bring either window to the top by clicking on it (or, for Win95 or Win98, clicking on the appropriate browser button on the task bar at the bottom of your screen).
- Bring the window containing the website to the top, and navigate to the page containing the item(s) you wish to order.
- Place your mouse cursor all the way to one side of the text to be copied. Click and hold button (left button on windows) and drag cursor to highlight text to be copied.
- Let go of mouse button. Press control C on windows, or command C on the Mac [hold down control or command key while pressing 'c']. This copies selected text to the clipboard.
- Bring the order form to the top. Place the cursor at beginning of appropriate field on order form. Click button (left button on windows) to establish insertion point. The press control V [Windows] or command V [Mac] to paste text into field on order form.
- You may want to paste more than one piece of data onto the 'Description' field on the Order form, such as a part description, size, and flow rating. To do this, just paste in the first piece of information, manually enter a comma or other separator, then copy and paste in the next piece of information after the separator.

Completing the order form
- First, enter the parts you want to order. The form accepts up to 10 items. For more items, you can complete and print out multiple copies of the order form.
- You can calculate and enter totals, or we will compute them for you. Appropriate tax and shipping charges will be added when your order is processed.
- Specify the shipping method for this order, and a FAX number to which we can send acknowledgement. Always include a contact name.
- If you have an established PHI account, just enter your account number, sign the order, and you are done. Please include your phone number for verification (important).
- If you do not have an existing PHI account, please enter your shipping and billing information and sign the order. If you have an account but wish to override the standard shipping/billing information for this order, enter the new information (all changes will be telephone verified).

Save time by opening an account
Opening an account is easy. Just call us at 1-800-447-4409, and we'll do it on the spot. To apply to pay by open account, just ask for a credit application, or check the appropriate box at the bottom of the order form. |
